Lawmaker faults "white advantage" removal
Well, it looks like Omari Hardy has not yet resigned from the Florida Legislature to run for Alcee Hastings' seat as he plans today to ask Democrat party leaders of Palm Beach County to censure three Democrat school board members.Marcia Andrews, Frank Barbieri and Karen Brill are in his cross-hairs for voting to remove the phrase "white advantage" from a declaration about the county public schools commitment to equity.
Hardy screwed up, however, as there was one more Democrat who voted against this wordage who he did not realize was a Democrat--Barbara McQuinn. Lake Worth's Erica Whitfield voted to keep the wordage in.
Hardy said, "The resolution will censure and condemn the three Democratic School board members who voted with the racist mob rather than listening to the multi-racial coalition that urged them to leave the equity statement unchanged."
I hope the Democrat party shows some sense and denies his resolution.
Omari needs to be censored.
