Vice Mayor Andy Amoroso Lake Worth Beach

All the anarchists and socialists are coming after the incumbents, going so far as to call F.A.I.R. and F.L.I.M.E.N hate groups. They are determined to take control of our city.

See Andy Amoroso's interview with South Palm Park Neighborhood Association.

  1. I mostly agree with Andy, and appreciate that he is a pragmatist, rather than an ideologue.

If I could be granted just one wish for my city; it would be for a smaller bus, running up Lake Avenue to the Beach.

  4. Love Andy and will definitely vote for him but he failed to give the facts about why his landlord did not renew his lease. They didn’t want dildos, glass pipes, paraphernalia being sold in the downtown. Nobody liked the hanging 5 dollar t shirts hanging from rusted hooks outside either his store although unique was not something he nor anyone would want in an up and coming downtown. Andy needs to stop holding grudges face the facts and reality and embrace all the investors in our town.

  5. @7.48 It’s too bad you did not post by using your name. It is my understanding that the rent went up so high that it was not affordable. The space is still not leased is it? He is now back on Lake Ave in a nice space in a great location.

  6. Yeah Right! Embrace Peters and his daughters! Money grubbing swine!

  7. The Peters have done nothing to improve Lake Worth Beach. They forced long time tenants to move with their outrageous rate hikes and now we have tons of empty storefronts. I do not believe their moral values had anything to do with it. Their buildings look awful. It's a shame they chased away the restaurant that was supposed to open on Lucerne after the woman spent a fortune on renovations. Now its just another vacant property.

  8. Raising rent is a way of saying "get lost" a tactic used by greedy slumlords everywhere. That being said his store had a filthy style.

  9. @2:20...this is not about his store...We are bot electing his store--this is about re-electing Andy Amoroso as city commissioner. I never had a problem in his store and found a lot of cool things there. I even bought a beautiful palm tree magnet by Ana Maria.

  10. Yes, 12:02, I was upset about that as well. I don't care for Vincent's, and I was looking forward to a good French Restaurant on Lucerne.

I hope they are doing okay with their location in Boynton.

  12. His store was very cringe. So off-putting, was glad it closed. Peters are bad for the city, wish they would find a new city to speculate on and leave LW.

Can someone explain what happened with the restaurant that was going to open? I was looking forward to it...shame we lost it to Boynton.

Billy Jacks Shacks was also supposed to open, not sure why it never did.

  13. Businesses have been deterred by the high rents here. It's definitely not the city that has been the obstacle.
