Rand Paul Calls For Us To ‘Open The Economy Up’ – Says It’s Our Only Chance Of Recovering
He slammed Republicans and Democrats alike for bankrupting the United States with outrageous spending. He added that the only way we have a chance of recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic financially is if we open the economy and let people get back to work. He's right on both counts.

$2,000 to those who lost jobs due to Covid or need the financial help during these trying times. Get rid of the ridiculous pork going to foreign countries that are in the bill. Congress do your job and stop the Blame Game.
ReplyDeleteLynn I certainly agree about the dollars flowing to foreign countries. However I am more concerned about our President playing brinksmanship with the existing bill. Failure to sign the bill into law will have an enormous negative on those who can least afford the delay in providing aid.
ReplyDeleteCongress signed a bill not even knowing what the hell was in it. typical...Stuffed with cash to foreign countries...Bankrupting our country with billions being given to every tom, dick and harry country on the globe for insane things.
ReplyDeleteHelp the American people.
With more pork than a Christmas ham--The legislation adds not one but two National Mall museums, $10 million for “gender programs” in Pakistan and $2.5 million for “internet freedom,” to name a few crazy things.
Trump should veto this bill until congress comes to its senses. What in hell do they think they're doing?
I like the idea of opening up and conducting business as usual. There's one downside, of course, and that's many more deaths. The thing is, most of these people are older and have already lived their best years. Some don't even have any families so they really won't be missed. It's sad, but when you put the benefits against the downsides, isn't it better that businesses survive and flourish? In the meantime, we get a younger and healthier population out of it.

ReplyDeleteEveryone is going to be vaccinated if they so choose.
You are one peach of a human!
Sounds like a Hitler theory you got going there.
Every life is valuable, 7:01pm. I have some doubt about yours.
ReplyDeletePlease 9:02. Get a life.
ReplyDeleteNothing is more despicable than these business owners, who are closed; offices mainly, like insurance companies, and the like, pretending to care about the employees lives, while they are saving on the rent, the electric, and every other item it takes to keep your business open.
The fraud that is being perpetrated by these phonies, will go down in history, as one of the greatest rip-offs of the people, and the government of all time.
Go back to work, you bums!
7:01 is saying what a lot of people like Lynn are saying without saying it. Vaccinations are going to take months. If we get back to "normal" too fast, there are going to be many more deaths.
ReplyDeleteThe economy is open. It has been open the entire time. It's just that most states are trying to follow CDC guidelines in order to minimize deaths.
"Michelle" Now you are putting words in my mouth? That is NOT what I'm saying nor is what I think.
ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate, Michell, that you are unable to recognize satire when you come across it.
ReplyDelete@11:44...I don't think it was satire at all. And if it was satire, it was impossible to discern.
ReplyDeleteAs I read it, I think the writer at 7:01 was being facetious.
