Andy Amoroso Back on Lake Avenue with new Business

Andy sold Studio 205 and now back on Lake Avenue

"In early 2020, Adam Sessa, a local realtor, purchased Andy Amoroso’s Studio 205 for an undisclosed amount. He changed the name of the business to The Haus Lounge coffee shop and began a major project of remodeling, working nights so the shop could continue operation during the day."

Subsequent to the sale, Andy Amoroso is back on Lake Avenue (where he should be)--630 Lake. Amoroso launched a new enterprise called the Tacky Tourist which offers a wide selection of vintage items and Florida collectibles.

  1. Does our slimy Commissioner Andy Amoroso still sell his wide variety of anal stimulation devices ? He only went back to lake for election reasons. Once election time ends his little tacky biz will end also. ! Classless... #clueless

  2. Actually, I just left Andy's store---It is great!
I don't believe he has sex toys.
    His backroom is clothes.
And I told Andy today that I believe he is a terrific commissioner, if not the top on the dais.
I almost didn't put up that comment @1:00 pm but it points out there are still some who won't get beyond the past.

  4. Those that fail to remember are doomed to repeat. The ruthlessness disregard for others he has shown in his actions on and off the dais will forever cloud any chance of Lake Worth Beach moving forward In A positive direction. This commission is tainted ! The fruits are poisoned . Time will tell.

  6. @4:12. Worse than anyone? LOL
I have seen Andy in action over several years and his involvement. He has made, for the most part, the right decisions.
*I get ticked off at all of them over one thing or another from time to time.
Overall, Andy has made more right decisions than bad.

  7. The problem with Andy our commissioner is he again is downgrading our downtown the reason the last landlord didn’t renew him was his store had hanging used shirts and racks of clothing outside among other garbage which by the way is not conforming to the downtown codes. I drive by today and again he’s up to that same thing only now he has used furniture all over the front of his store and sidewalk. His window is filled with clutter same as previous this is not what people want nor is legal as per our zoning codes yet he still continues to do it. We have investors and millions of dollars being invested in our downtown right now no one wants a junk store let alone an owner who does not abide by our codes. Keep the used furniture and used t shirts inside it’s not a good look for any downtown

  8. We all have opinions, including commissioners! If their opinion is different than yours, that doesn't make them wrong. They SHOULD do what is best for the city as a whole, not for themselves, or a certain few.

The commissioners for the most part (I'll exclude one), seems to do what is best for the city as a whole. Not for me, not for you, not for them, but the city as a whole.

  9. How worse could it look between two bars on either side. Dave's has presentable people sitting outside, but the dump on the other side is all bums. You mean Andy's store looks worse than that. What about the place across the street. You have to go a long way, to downgrade Lake Worth.

It's Lake Avenue, not Park Avenue. I'm glad it is still breathing after the lock-down.

I guess you dont watch the Commission meeting. These commissioners and mayor work for US ! Their “ opinion” should be based on what we as a city NEED, not ones own personal agenda. These commissioners have shown time and time again , they are NOT Qualified to operate this city properly. It is easy to blame Omari for the dysfunction. However, we can not over look the fact the the TRIO have been at this game of point fingers before he arrived. This game must END ! The people of Lake Worth deserve more. The people of lake worth need to know our officials can get to Tallahassee and bring money back. Amoroso & Company need to step back And let real leaders lead. The sexy story had to come to end ! We cant buy into it any longer. We as a city are drowning fast. When do we get a Life preserver ? What have they done for us lately ? Amoroso is the puppet master. This must stop. We need a strong mayor with strong leadership skills . We dont need To worry about Mawell , he will lose. In closing ,please remember a glue trap attracts many different types of creatures . Ask yourself, why is this commission stuck ?
