Should Palm Beach County rename Dixie Highway?

There has been talk about this from other counties all year...now because of all these cop haters and rioters tearing down Confederate statutes, it has surfaced again.

Palm Beach County commissioners were contacted but only Commissioner Robert Weinroth responded. The Vice Mayor said:

In the words of George Santayana, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." I would not initiate a change in the name of Dixie Hwy because I don’t believe in erasing history but rather believe we need to learn from our past.
