LANDSLIDE for the developers in Lake Worth and big win for the County...no surprise. Only 17 out of 20 precincts (unless 3 were eliminated for this election) on the Supervisor of Elections website, but an overwhelming support for the City that just can't manage a thing. That’s expected to give the city a better shot at landing a public-private partnership to develop a “resort-style” pool facility or “aquatic center” at the Lake Worth Casino complex and provide the long-term commitment necessary to finance improvements at the popular Benny’s On The Beach at the foot of the Lake Worth Pier."
