Took this photo from my car yesterday...man does that train go fast!
It wasn't reported by the media what type of train was involved in the crash on Florida East Coast Railway tracks operated by Virgin Trains USA and freight trains. Brightline, now known as Virgin Trains, travels about 110mph through this area. Not one death or accident has been attributed to Brightline.
Read about it...
they go fast but not 110mph
ReplyDeletePlease Google it-
ReplyDeleteTrain speeds
Upon full buildout of the Miami–Orlando route, trains will operate at up to 79 mph (127 km/h) between Miami and West Palm Beach, up to 110 mph (177 km/h) between West Palm Beach and Cocoa, and up to 125 mph (201 km/h) between Cocoa and the Orlando International Airport.
So, it's 79mph...you still don't want to be in its way :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, the whole idea of train travel is getting there fast.
ReplyDeletePlease clarify your sentence that not one death has been attributed to Brightline. Are you saying that it was adjudicated to be the fault of the person that was killed? That would make sense.
"Not one death or accident has been attributed to Brightline."
ReplyDeleteExcept for the ones you posted about...

ReplyDeleteA better way of saying it would have been, Brightline has not been at fault with any of the deaths occurred involving their train.
who cares who is at fault.just stay out of their way
ReplyDeleteJust how in the FUC do you get hit by a train????
ReplyDeleteI read where they believe that 60% of the fatalities are suicide.
