Tonight's City Commission Meeting


Tonight there is a general Lake Worth City Commission meeting:

PRESENTATIONS:
  • Principal of Barton Elementary
  • Rebecca Hinson of Southgrade Elementary will be giving an artwork video
  • Recycling Update
  • Parrot Cove Neighborhood Association
  • Holiday II Mobile Home Park
All of this will take up the first hour.

There are 8 items on on the Consent Agenda

The city plans on raising Business Tax Receipts by 5%. This will only raise around $30,000 per annum.  Not exactly business friendly especially as they are trying to attract businesses to Lake Worth.

    At last night's first budget Workshop, it appeared that parking at our beach will be $3.00 an hour.
