Florida Legislature Trashes Sanctuary Cities with Brilliant New Ban

“I thank the Florida Legislature for presenting me with a bill that upholds the rule of law and addresses sanctuary cities and counties in Florida,” DeSantis said in a tweet.

Last year, Governor DeSantis said, "There’s NOT going to be any sanctuary cities in Florida when I’m Governor! I’ve always opposed amnesty and stood up for the rule of law in our country. Cheap foreign labor is not an excuse to let lawlessness prevail in the sunshine state. We want people who come LEGALLY!"

And that's the way it will be folks. Now if sneaky local governments will cease going around our laws by calling cities "Welcoming Cities," like West Palm Beach and Lake Worth and stop the authorization of ID's for illegals, we will be on the right road to obeying the law and keeping our sovereignty.
