R.I.P George H. W. Bush

George Herbert Walker Bush (June 12, 1924 – November 30, 2018)

George H. W. Bush, 41st president of the United States, passed away last night at the age of 94.

"Through his essential authenticity, disarming wit, and unwavering commitment to faith, family, and country, President Bush inspired generations of his fellow Americans to public service—to be, in his words, 'a thousand points of light' illuminating the greatness, hope, and opportunity of America to the world."

George H.W. Bush, was the last good President we had in this country. Since then, we've really gone downhill.

  2. "America is never wholly herself unless she is engaged in high moral principle. We as a people have such a purpose today. It is to make kinder the face of the nation and gentler the face of the world."

I miss the Republican Party of old. It's like comparing a Cadillac to a beat up Ford loaded with a bunch of screaming, angry crazies who want to do nothing more than piss off 50% of America. That's their only goal before they depart this life.

    *sigh*

Godspeed, George. You're lucky you're not going to see the next 6 months.

  3. @1:26--THE ONLY people screaming are Democrats and you really DO piss off 50% of the country. Your only goal is to take down Trump. Sad. I could outlive you, anonymous who is always wishing that I would drop dead. Not yet, angry one. Not yet.

  4. 1:26: "nice" twist on a tribute to a great leader, let's miss the Kennedy Democrats, naive to his decadence.
