Mexican Holiday celebrated in Lake Worth
I realize that the liberals love to brag about what a diverse city we are but why are we celebrating a Mexican holiday? Why not just plain old "Halloween"?
The school board wants even more of my money? Hell no! kick all of the little Guat illegals out of our country and we would have plenty of money to teach our own American kids and keep our schools repaired. You could probably shut down half of the schools in this county if all of the illegals were deported.None of these illegals are vaccinated. When will we get the first of our Palm Beach county kids being paralyzed by the diseases they have brought in?
As the population changes, we adapt to be inclusive. I attended last year's event and it was very colorful and music filled. It did make me feel as if I were in a Latin country. Everyone was extremely nice. I highly recommend you add this cultural expansion to your already open mind.
We have enough diversity here as is and I enjoy it. People are now coming from countries where the population isn't cared for especially the lower castes and they are bringing disease. We need to care for our vulnerable no matter what race.
Bravo lynn! No more celebrations for the illegals. There's no way I would go to this farce. I don't want to catch whatever diseases they would spread to me.
That's about the most neo-NAZI thing I have heard this century. Whether you know it or not, that's a racist statement. My father, who was from Germany, always said he should have married a Polish woman, as they kept the cleanest house. How's that for racism and sexism.
Opinion is not any ism. In fact disease is not vaccinated in third world countries.We suddenly have a virus causing childhood paralysis and our great doctors from many cultures "don't know" where it comes from?

Dia de Los Muertos is a Mexican Holiday, it is celebrated on All Souls day, it is really a religious holiday celebrating the death of loved ones where they go and bring the person who died their favorite food to their grave, celebrating their life and it is a way to honor them. It is not anti-Christian. I lived in Mexico for many years as a teacher and they do have a lot of culture and are very proud of being Mexican. Their ancestors the Mayans and Aztecs, made a lot of great contributions to science, math, astronomy, our calendar system, they were very precise and intelligent, the pyramids they constructed were phenomenal. Mexico is a beautiful country, just not as safe as it used to be, but it is not safe here either. The pollution in Mexico City is horrible. It is too bad all of the volcanos killed off many of the Mayans and Aztecs and the Spanish destroyed a lot of their writings. Today, they are a people of The Christian Faith, very religious. It is too bad many abuse alcohol and get involved with crimes, greed, drugs, corruption, etc. it is a beautiful place and has so much history.
It is just part of the Latino and Mexican culture to drink a lot, to get completely drunk, that is why you see all of them drunk here in Lake Worth. Just like it is part of the Haitian's culture to be loud and to feel better by having more or acting like material things will make them fit in.
Americans in the USA born here from many generations of living in the USA are completely different.
They just allowed too much immigration too fast within the past 20 years now in the USA, this entire area has more immigrants and then true Americans now, they have moved, white flight, people do not want to be around this chaos of the crazy culture mess here now, World Thrift is a perfect example of this craziness.
We cater too much to all the immigrants and don't require them to fit in, so we have all these groups here, the Haitians, the latinos, the Asian, the USA borm Americans, it is a hot mess now, not fun, just another Babylonia, it is only going to get worse. Just read about it all in the Book of Daniel in the Bible, the times are getting worse. World Thrift is like the Tower of babel today, we are living what it says in the Bible. Hold on and Keep the faith it is only going to get more challenging!

You know who killed 17 people in Parkland? A white guy.
You know who killed 11 Jews in a synagogue in Pittsburgh? A white guy.
You know who just killed 2 people in a yoga studio in FL? You got it...a white guy.
You scared, paranoid Republicans better wake up and realize that the threat is from the people living within our borders not from those headed toward them.
Once you stop making excuses for the real killers maybe America can be great again.

Did you know that ICE, you know, the organization that Democrats want to abolish, arrested 127,000 illegal aliens with criminal convictions or impending criminal charges last year? We can deal with our own criminals and nut jobs but why would we want those from foreign nations who are illegal?
