The police do not have a presence at all, they are never in the hood either and then you wonder why there is so much crime and lawlessness there. It is easier to hide out by the golf course or somewhere quiet so to not be bothered or to be put at risk. It is no different here than Parkland with how the police were there. Part of it you can understand, but it just shows you that it does take courage and there is not a lot of that today in leadership and law enforcement like with the problem with human trafficking and illegal immigrants here.
we don't see them over here by the golf course either.cant really expect any better than what we are getting when you call dispatch and they don't even know where lw is.or they say "are the percks committing a crime".thought that was their job to find out.a man got fired for not going into a school what do you call it when they stay out of your neighborhood
I see the Police at least 10 or 15 times a day. What is it you want to see them doing? They are in the city and on the streets. Do you want them staked out in front of your house? Maybe you wouldn't like that either. Do you think they're your fairy godmother? You just have a grudge against law enforcement, and that's that.
@2:49--where do you see them? Downtown? I never see one. If I see one or two a month I'm doing well. We simply would like some police presence in our city--not after the fact. I don't think anyone here has a grudge against law enforcement. Tell that to Ryan Hartman or someone. Why can't someone make a statement? And--I never see one at the beach. Maybe I go too early for them. :)
Yes, I see them downtown; I see them at the gas station; I see them at those motels on Federal; I see them outside the library; I see them at the intracoastal on 4th Ave South; I see them on Dixie Hwy; I see them in the bank parking lot; I see them everywhere I go. Are you having a problem in Lake Osborne that you would need to see them parked there? If you need them, why don't you call them, and tell them you have a problem. I don't know about the beach. I know a condo on the beach that says they are always there when they have a problem with kids.
SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE IS TRYING TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE WE ARE PROTECTED HERE.ITS FUNNY I PUT ON THE MILES IN TOWN ,THAT OUR LEADERS ARE GETTING PAID TO DO AND I DONT SEE COPS.AS FOR 2.49 WE ALL DONT HAVE A GRUDGE,WE JUST WANT OUR MONEYS WORTH
We are paying for two PBSO deputies at our beach.
ReplyDeletemaybe they were sleeping in their car

ReplyDeleteMany people have told me that they never see PBSO. Glad you see them all over the city.
ReplyDeleteVery rarely do we see PBSO patrolling west of I-95.
