City of Lake Worth to give you the "boot"

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Lake Worth, Florida – Beginning February 1, 2018 the City of Lake Worth will begin the immobilizing (commonly called “booting”) of vehicles that have acquired three (3) or more citations. This process uses a device (“boot”) that will immobilize a vehicle until all citations, including a boot citation fee of $60.00, are paid. Once all citations are paid the boot will be released, if citations are not paid within 24 hours then the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
All citations may be paid at 414 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida 33460 either in person or by mail, or online at www.remit-online.com/561001 (a $3.50 convenience fee applies).
