Inspector General's Audit finds $7.1 million in questionable expenses in Lake Worth

Audit finds millions in questioned costs at Lake Worth Water Utilities

"The biggest item-- the city made an improper loan of $6 million from the city’s Water Utility Fund and Self-Insurance Fund to the casino Building Fund to pay for redevelopment construction of the Casino Building at the Lake Worth Beach."
