"Now, even a singer of the national anthem at an NFL game is taking a knee and rendering the black power salute
"The morons who run the NFL, the morons who own the teams, and the morons taking a knee or sitting on their entitled asses during the national anthem, are killing their golden goose."Read more...
The majority of these people who went from college football directly into the NFL never saw a military day in their lives and diss our country and all it stands for. This is all about patriotism, not racism. The liberal left is feeding right into the hands of our enemy. Even crazy whack job Kim Jong un is using their crazy anti-American rhetoric against our president and our country.
Black is now white in the crazy play book of liberals. What in the hell do they think they're doing? Liberals have taken this country past the point of no return with the American people unless they miraculously see the light and stop the destructiveness and divisiveness they have caused.
This is America. Be proud.
This message brought to you by the same people who voted for the guy who called America weak and not great.
ReplyDeleteWatching too much MSNBC I see.
ReplyDeletethis is going to continue until more people like myself stop going to these games.put a soldiers uniform on theseb idoits give them their gun which they already have and send them to war.at minium wage.GOD bless our men and women who are and have fought so I could stand and salute my flag
ReplyDeleteConservatives today: defend the white Nazis and their freedom of speech but attack the black athletes peacefully protesting and trample on their freedom of speech.
ReplyDeleteThe rules are very different for Republicans.
Different protest entirely. If you can't distinguish the difference here, well there's no hope for ya. I don't like punks and I don't care if they are BLACK athletes, WHITE KKKlaners or Antifa punks. What I can't stand more than that are liberals seeing racism in everything and protesting anything.
ReplyDelete12-33 if its your black athletes rights to disgrace my flag its my rights to trample their fredoms you forget we all have the same rights.how long do you think this crap is going to be peaceful.dont blame us at the first sign of violence which we can see coming
ReplyDeleteNo one is trampling on the athletes freedom of speech.
ReplyDeleteMany, myself included, disagree with what they are doing, disrespecting the flag and those of us who respect it- our free speech right.
For Democrats, do we have to bow down to their protest, to show that we resect their right to free speech?
It's time to stop football when 110 of 111 former players have brain damage, don't you think.
Just curious as to why you didn't allow my comment to be posted that explained in detail how the Nazi gatherings and the NFL players are similar in that they are legal and involve the expression of free speech.
ReplyDeleteWhy was that so offensive to you?
Because your assessment of the facts are distorted and untrue. Also, you suggested that Republicans defend Nazis.
ReplyDeleteI also deleted a comment from early this morning that called all the NFL players who took a knee as "primitives" and that they should go back to wherever they came from. Equally as obnoxious to me.
Just a point on your comment above: when you declare that the violence at Charlottesville was the fault of Antifa and those protesting the Nazis and you claim zero responsibility on the part of the Nazis, you are defending the Nazis.
ReplyDeleteWe can disagree on the rest of it as far as whether my assessment of the facts are distorted, but the above is what it is.
I am comparing two incidences where free speech is the issue. You feel Nazis have the right of free speech, whereas NFL players don't.
ReplyDeleteBoth are controversial for obvious reasons. But they ARE free speech issues.
Personally, I feel that the people who are racist and hate Jews are worse than people who are peacefully protesting injustice by taking a knee during the anthem. We disagree. That's okay.
One other thing to think about that probably won't help you see things any differently but I thought was pretty good:
"Rosa Parks was not protesting the bus. Gandhi was not protesting the food. Players are not protesting the anthem. It's the injustice."
"Why then do you condemn the KKK who had a permit to rally but not Antifa who came to disrupt and cause a riot?"
ReplyDeleteTo be sure, the people who rallied in Charlottesville were white supremacists and neo-Nazis. Intermixed with them were traditional KKK folks.
People who use violence, whether they are hitting someone over the head or running people down with a car and killing them, are wrong. I condemn violence on both sides.
But the problem here on this blog that I see is that you look to defend the Nazis by making excuses for them, like you have in your past 2 comments and other posts. They are not blameless and, if you watch video of the rally, were as much instigating the violence as some of those on the other side. Plus they ran over protestors, left them in the street, killing one.
It's not a black and white issue where one side is totally blameless and the other side totally guilty. But, for some reason, that's what it always seems to come down to here.
I'm done. Thanks for listening.
