Hudson Holdings being sued

Hudson Holdings of The Gulfstream Hotel fame, is being sued! It's no wonder they have been totally silent on the Gulfstream Hotel property. The city commissioners (Maxwell, Triolo and Amoroso) as well as the Historic Preservation Board bent over backwards to accommodate their demands...changing zoning and even overthrowing a vote of the people on heights!

"HH Louisville Starks LP, an affiliate of Delray Beach, Fla.-based Hudson Holdings LLC, has been sued by its former construction manager and a former tenant of the Starks Building. The suits allege breach of contract, withheld payments and wrongful eviction among other claims. Both lawsuits were filed earlier this year.

One of the suits was brought earlier this month by Louisville-based Wehr Constructors Inc., who was retained as the construction manager on the renovation of the building, the first part of which was built in 1912. Hudson Holdings principals Steve Michael and Andrew "Avi" Greenbaum did not immediately respond to requests for comment Monday afternoon."

  1. I remember well the first meeting where Hudson Holdings was promising great things for the Gulfstream! First Greater Bay and then these losers. Who's next? I suspect whoever gets picked for the beach job.How will they fail to do the job as promised? If history repeats itself ,the Trio will all gleefully bend over and then some time in the future we'll have to involve our city attorney to waste tax dollars to get what was promised to us in the first place. Just how many damn times is Lake Worth going to be left at the proverbial alter after paying for yet another fancy wedding that won't be happening ? Maxwell,Amoroso and Triolo and city staff like Bornstein seem to just love to inflict losers upon this poor town and it's citizens.Look how Hudson Holding protects the Gulfsteam from the threat of a Hurricane.

  2. Well, thank God they won't be involved in our beach complex.
