This has no place in anything labeled as "teen".It was on line, not in the magazine. So what. If this were Cosmo, something like this would be expected.
The defense of this by Teen Vogue speaks to a larger issue, the bullying of those who dislike this going out to teens and younger as "homophobia" Nonsense. Our children are not to be sexualized in any way. Everyone has their own private coming of age when the time is right. Pushing the envelope on children is inappropriate. Teen Vogue is no one's mentor. The media is arrogant and creepy.
There's no pleasure in this for females, only pain and submission, the guy will leave either way. It's a stupid thing to teach young women, has no purpose in an equal male female relationship.

ReplyDeleteGross. Horrifying. Esp. since Teen Vogue is really geared toward 11-14 year olds.
