Californians gathering signatures to Secede from the U.S.

A proposal to secede would create a path for California’s independence from the United States is one step closer now that supporters can begin gathering signatures for the 2018 ballot measure.

California became a state on September 9, 1850. Now the state has a far left liberal governor with sanctuary cities growing in leaps and bounds. Its  population is greater than that of all but 34 countries of the world.

The economy of California is large enough to be comparable to that of the largest of countries. As of 2016, the gross state product (GSP) is about $2.514 trillion, the largest in the United States. California is responsible for 13.9 percent of the United States' approximate $18.1 trillion gross domestic product (GDP) [Wikipedia]

The federal government spends some $367.8 billion a year on California. That’s an average of about $9,500 for every woman, man and child in the state but the State says they pay more to the federal government than they get back in return. [Los Angeles Times]
