President Trump and Infrastructure
Trump released infrastructure plan
- President Donald Trump released an infrastructure plan
as part of the 2018 budget. The plan calls for $1 trillion in
investment, with $200 billion in direct spending from the federal
government over the next decade, and the other $800 billion in
incentives to state and local governments and private investors.
Specific proposals in the plan include allowing states to toll federally
funded highways, corporatizing air traffic control, and expanding the
TIFIA loan program for transportation projects.
The plan received praise
from the Cato Institute, which wrote that, “Trump’s agenda sounds good
to anyone who wants an efficient, user-fee-driven infrastructure
program.” The Center for American Progress was critical of the selling
of government assets, saying that, “Building infrastructure faster and
without adequate study or time for community input may be good for
developers, but it’s lousy for everyone else.” [Ballotpedia]
Every breathing Democrat will slam it
ReplyDeleteHe's getting a new bridge built on Palm Beach going to Mar a Lago
ReplyDeleteDoesn't need a new bridge--he has his helipad--now he won't have to interact with pink pussy cats.
ReplyDeleteHe's not taking a helicopter to Havana to grab a Cuban sandwich
DeleteHow is it we used to be able to build things, and now, all we do is argue. It does not bode well for the country's future.
ReplyDelete"Every breathing democrat will slam it". Yea just like the gop slammed it when Obama wanted to do it 7 years ago. Further proof the gopeepee held the country hostage for 8 years because they had to prove to their base they didn't like O'bama's polici..........skin color.
ReplyDeleteIt had NOTHING to do with his skin color. You know it. I know it. We all know it. So, why the continued BS? Ask Dr. Ben Carson what he thinks. Allen West? You people are the biggest racists and that's all you have for an argument?
