ISIS in Philippines--Duterte declares Martial Law in Mindanao

“Anyone now holding a gun, confronting the government with violence, my orders are spare no one, let us solve the problems of Mindanao once and for all," Duterte said Wednesday.
“If I think you should die, you will die. If you fight us, you will die. If there's an open defiance, you will die, and if it means many people dying, so be it. That's how it is,” he added.

ISIS is sneaking closer to our country and operating their mayhem in the Northern hemisphere. At least seven police officers were killed in Marawi by ISIS. President Rodrigo Duterte placed the entire island of Mindanao under martial law for 60 days after battles between government troops and the Maute (ISIS) in Marawi escalated

The Philippines is located in both the northern and eastern hemispheres, and positioned off the southeastern coast of Asia, directly east of Vietnam and northeast of Malaysia.  Hawaii is in the Northern Hemisphere.

  3. Try to get beyond the deplorables, 2:33. You're not doing yourself any favor living in the past like this. Onward and Upward! If you keep looking backward like this, you won't be ready for the next onslaught.

    1. That's what keeps them in business always looking back, never moving forward. Keeping the save the beach signs, whining about the vote of the people, reopening a 70's era pool, shuffleboard courts, I could go on and on,

  4. It's ok to look back rather than re-writing history as liberals are doing throughout the country by removing our civil war memorials as an example.

All of those things you mention are benign "protests" if you will--not anarchy that you so readily approve. Many of us do not agree that what you want to do to our city is "moving forward."

Standing up for the Constitution is what all of us should be doing, not just conservatives. Standing up for our history in Lake Worth and wanting to preserve our assets is what normal people do.

    1. I have no idea as to what anarchy or being liberal or conservative or wherever has to do with local politics as you seem so hung up on this as I only want my slice of paradise moving forward.

  5. I am "hung up" on facts.
What is moving forward mean to you? Does it involve a bulldozer? What about muzzles on elections and free speech?

  6. I'm afraid paradise is over in this area. When you leave Lake Worth to go North, South, East or West, the amount of new construction is about to strangle us. Only humans destroy their own environment.
