The Look of Love

"I am proud to death to be sitting here with these commissioners... I'm so excited about the future of our city." Scott Maxwell

Our former commissioners did not impede your direction or desires for this city. Are you saying you believe you now have a rubber stamp on it all? Heights? You will no longer have to endure a commissioner with a different view? Cementing in our Olympic pool? Spending millions on an aquatic park? Hudson Holdings still in the wings to grab it all? During the campaign, Herman Robinson mentioned interlocal partnerships on several occasions. Did he mean public/private partnerships? Are we to have another Peter Willard in the wings? Will Bornstein get all his wishes now and get rid of the "white elephant"? Will you get yours, Vice Mayor?

On a positive note, perhaps we will no longer have to endure the rolling of the eyes and all the bullying.

  4. As I have always said, politicians are fair game. He does look like he's pleased as punch. He looked as if he was suffering through McVoy's final good bye. Ryan Maier had a good idea--cut and run and get his sanity back.
