Protest formed for tonight against President Trump

UPDATE: 7:20 p.m. UPDATE: A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office official at the scene has confirmed that one person was arrested and another detained at a protest outside the Four Seasons in Palm Beach, where President Donald Trump is attending a gathering of Republican donors. PBPost

Lake Worth's favorite anarchist, is now protesting against our president. All Trump wants to do is create jobs for all these people who live off welfare. But they would rather walk on sand and pound it. The protesters are trying to show Trump that they oppose the election results, according to organizer Ryan Hartman.

“We’re just trying to deliver the message that we’re not going to die down,” Hartman said. “We’re fighting to get rid of Donald Trump.” Hartman has no idea why he wants to "get rid of Donald Trump.

He said "the group will meet at the Lake Worth Beach and walk along the sand to get as close to the Four Seasons as possible. Secret Service is expected in the area around the Four Seasons before Trump speaks."

Read about it... and another Lake Worthian with real ambition.

  1. These "protesters" are morally bankrupt.

  2. Ryan Hartman is a guy who probably had good intentions at one time but went over the top with his activism. Listening to the socialists too much.

  4. That's probably their badge of honor to get arrested. Ryan Hartman hates cops.

  5. I voted for this guy not knowing he was an a-hole

  6. I wish Trump would stop spending every weekend in Palm Beach. He can get work done up in DC and stop being such a bother to Palm Beach. I live off of Algoma on the island and it can take me an hour to get back to my house after dining downtown. I voted for the guy but it's to the point that it's just starting to embarrass me and my friends. $3 million every time he decides to come down. We should all be outraged.

  7. I don't recall anyone complaining about all the exotic vacations that were NOT working vacations made by Obama and his entire family. His trip to Hawaii each year cost $3.5 million or Michelle's vacation in Spain that cost $242k. She had many exotic vacations. Obama's were NOT working vacations as are Trump's. Try dining in Palm Beach when he's at his property and not at the same time his plane lands.
Let's look at the positive here. President Trump is attracting all sorts of tourists to PB County--property values are going up. The market is soaring like a bird...you are making money. Be happy.

  8. I voted for and campaigned for Ryan, but I feel I was misled about how radical he really is. He said he disagreed with the police on some issues, but that he did not hate the police.WRONG ! This guy IS a cop hater .And believe me, I lay the blame on myself for not doing the research about him myself.

  9. @12:23--Katie--We all rely on others to vet their candidates before they run for office. We trust them when they tell us their candidate is someone of integrity. We trust our friends to tell us the truth. No ordinary citizen other than someone with a vested interest in the outcome of an election has the time to investigate a candidate. No one wants to spend their money and time on anyone with extreme views to this degree. It was most unfortunate that another candidate could not have been found. District 1 is a large district. And another unfortunate thing was that he brought down the campaigns of everyone else who was running against the Trio.

  10. If Obama had owned Mar a Lago, he would have come down here every weekend too. I feel really bad for you living off Algoma. Would you like to trade places? I live near Federal Hwy in Lake Worth. You'll never have to worry about Trump traffic here, but try to get to and from Congress and Hypoluxo to Federal, or anywhere east/west of 95. We have spring break and the seasonal people, and in another month, we'll have everyone's poor relations. Buck up! He probably won't come down in the summer.

  11. I don't care who the President is...if he's wasting tax payer money, I want it stopped. Every time Don visits town it costs all of us $3 million. True, he mixes work with pleasure but presidents work 24/7 no matter who they are. I'm with Mark in that I'm happy that he's giving us a high profile but it's coming to great cost to residents and the surrounding communities.

See you over at the symphony, Mark!

  12. He's bringing in tourist to the area, so that is a good point and I am so happy he is the PRESIDENT.God Bless you President Trump

  13. Are you kidding; we need more tourists? You don't get out much do you?

  14. He's bringing in money--much need tourist dollars.

  15. Aside from the President's visit, the tourists are destroying the quality of life in S. Florida. If you think property values in LW are going up because the President is visiting Mar A Lago, you probably think tourists are good for the Pyramids in Egypt, and the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, or the Sculptures in Rome. Eventually, left to their own devices, the tourists destroy everything. My advice: Leave your money at the gate, we'll send you a picture.
