But it’s very important to me, but this isn’t Donald Trump that
divided a nation. We went eight years with President Obama and we went
many years before President Obama. We lived in a divided nation. And I
am going to try – I will do everything within my power to fix that.”
~ President Donald Trump
He will do what he says if all the crazies get out of his way. John McCain is included.
ReplyDeleteWhere John McCain is concerned, I would just have to ask him: What have you done lately? Douglas MacArthur said it best, "Old Soldiers Never Die, They Just Fade Away." Time to fade away John!
ReplyDeleteTrump has no intention of uniting the nation. Dissension is what got him elected. Fear of others keeps his supporters by his side. Anger at anyone who disagrees with him rallies his base.
ReplyDeleteThe guy relies on 1/2 the country hating the other half.
Please.
@9:56. You can read the President's mind now? I guess the government should just hire you instead of worrying about hackers undermining our government.
ReplyDeleteThis Nation has always been divided. Why else would there have been a Civil War. This is a really big land mass. It could easily have been at least two countries. I think Lincoln was wrong to kill hundreds of thousands of people to keep the Union together. What was the point? To come to this? Of course Slavery had to end; it should have never begun, but that is not what this post is about.
ReplyDelete@9:17...I agree. 620,000 people died in the Civil War. I always thought it was an unconscionable war but the overall objective was good. It was our culture then and even blacks had slaves and sold them. There should have been a better way. @9:56 above blames Trump's win because of "hate." This is so far removed from reality and the only people spewing "hate" are liberals.
