The only winners are the responsible residents of Palm Beach County who wanted to preserve their park, the environment and the wildlife in one of the oldest parks for families in the State of Florida. This is the first time we lucked out for having no money--no money to fund the Braves in their quest to ruin our county park. They weren't about to pay for anything. They wanted your money so that they could make all of the profits. Apparently Sarasota worked out a deal with this billion dollar corporation.

Greg Rice. One of the obstructionists in our town.
ReplyDeleteI'm very happy that the Braves will not be coming to John Prince Park.
ReplyDeleteThat whole group are obstructionists. They have always wanted to change our town to a developer's dream. Kick all of them off the P&Z and Historical boards too and finally kick off Scott Maxwell next year and his other side-kicks.
ReplyDeleteThis horrible hairball of an idea has many gross parts to it.You have Commissioners like our own Bat Boy Scott Maxwell running around meeting with other commissioners out of the sunshine to get them to all support an idea like this. No public discussion ,just a smarmy fraternity of Commissioners talking among themselves and then having the Palm Beach Post proclaim "Lake Worth,Lantana,Palm Springs, Greenacres,Lake Clare Shores ,Atlantis, etc. all these towns support the Braves!" Only the TAX PAYERS of the towns, the PEOPLE, were not included in the smarmy fraternity discussions.
ReplyDeleteThen you have the "leaders" seemingly happy to destroy a public park for some fictional "economic benefits".A PUBLIC PARK,DAMMIT !!!
The Atlanta Braves provided a very telling picture of who the real whores are in Palm Beach County. And they're not prancing down Dixie Highway. They are presiding over Commission and Council meetings around the County. They are the myopic business owners serving customers in their businesses.
And we the people won't forget the true colors they showed.
Greg, you don't look happy in this photo. I guess you're looking extra sad now. Is Scott crying?
ReplyDeletegreg and the bat boy never look happy
