Omari Jamal Hatchett Hardy
The Mystery Man
The Mystery Man
As no one really knows anything about this candidate or even how long he's lived in Lake Worth, here is information from his Facebook page. His treasury report has him living at 1736 apt 401 Lake Worth Road, which is the LUCERNE AVE GARDEN CONDO property owned by Adopt a Family. This property is fully exempt from real estate taxes as a FULL: CHARITABLE/BENEV/FRAT.
Adopt a Family says that its mission is to strengthen families with children in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services. Since 1983, Adopt-A-Family has grown into the largest service provider for homeless families in Palm Beach County and helping families who are behind on their rent or mortgage -- providing access to services for more than 2,000 families with children per year.
Omari Hardy attended the University of Miami where schooling is very expensive.
Expenses Cost Institution Name
Tuition $44,350 University of Miami
Room & Board $12,684
Other Expenses $3,390
Books & Supplies $2,430
So why would he be living at Lucerne Avenue Garden Condos? He's a Palm Beach County school teacher.
As a side, Commissioner Andy Amoroso's business just gave him a campaign contribution of $100 and it has been said that Vice Mayor Scott Maxwell is behind his running.

Never heard of this guy. Does he really live here?
ReplyDeleteIs he Haitian? We know the Haitians have been trying to get power in our county and have targeted Lake Worth this year in both district elections. Mack Bernard got elected and they feel empowered even though they have done nothing for our town and no one has ever heard of them. It's a joke.
ReplyDeleteHave no idea other that I am assuming he is a USA citizen. He teaches Civics and that's a good thing. Honesty and an ethical government in our republic is what we all want.
ReplyDeleteOther than the residency requirement, he seems to be well qualified. I really can't see him beating McVoy on a level playing field. Mack Bernard is a county commissioner, not Lake Worth. There are many Haitians in the county, not so in Lake Worth. I can't imagine that anyone would single out Bernard as someone who hasn't done anything. Please point out someone who has done something. Something other than sell land to developers, that is.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Bernard when he ran against Jeff Clemens. He won his seat on the BCC Palm Beach County and so far is doing a great job. I don't care if Hardy is green, white, blue or purple, we don't know who he is or why he's running at all.
ReplyDeleteThe Haitians in Lake Worth don't do a damn thing. They don't vote. They don't clean up their neighborhoods, nothing. Except shoot each other. Mcvoy is the only Commissioner that has ever tried to really help the Haitian community in Lake Worth. And what do they do for Mcvoy? They stab him in the back.
ReplyDeletePlease be accurate at 11:40pm machetes are their weapon of choice. As for Omari there's a good chance he went to school free and how many names does one person need, unless they're flipping them around to suit an agenda. We already know about previous candidates who falsified the address, I was living at one such property and we never saw him there. So that's a red flag. Also any support of Clinton is suspicious.
ReplyDeleteI have to chuckle at the Clinton comment. There are two Republicans on our current dais who have been the leaders in the awful decisions made in this city and who are the biggest bullies of all. I have to say, the mayor has tempered her bullying.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it has nothing to do with party and everything to do with greed.
ReplyDeleteI can think of some legitimate questions you could have about his residency, but it's difficult to picture this fellow running around with a machete. As far as the number of names he has, I once knew an Irish girl named: Nancy Ann Veronica Theresa Neiman. So, 8:32 pm, you lived in subsidized housing. Are you bragging or complaining? Anyone who paints with a broad brush, an entire community can legitimately be classified as a racist. And one more thing: he may have gone to school free, but I doubt if you could have gotten in the school for full tuition.
ReplyDeleteWow what a long post for a race baiter snob to call someone you don't know a racist. That hurts. Take a slow walk on our south side and you'll see racism. Until its admitted that it cuts both ways, we'll have these stupid conflicts. It's time to allow folks to prove their individual worth without seeing color likw intelligent people do.
ReplyDeleteWasn't he a NPA until right before he declared his candidacy? Not a good indicator. Also, I've heard he's a fav of our Mayor and Maxwell. With the double M's behind him, he won't get my vote!
ReplyDeleteaccording to this http://miami.academia.edu/OmariHardy he studied Political Philosophy. So, planning for a career in politics. Hmmmm. Where shall I go to start my political career one might ask one's self?
ReplyDeleteDade or Broward? No, I'm not that special. Boca? um, no. Boynton? Probably can't get elected there with NO experience. West Palm Beach? Not a chance. Lantana? nope. too racist in Lantana. How about podunk Lake Worth? They'll think I'm super sophisticated, and I can really spin a good story (political philosophy can be handy). Just rent a place and act like I give a shit about something. mission accomplished.
Amoroso and Maxwell are behind this man and Robinson. The two are joined at the hip.
ReplyDeleteThey are seen eating lunch together at Callers with the City Mgr and City Atty. Conflict of interest? Hmm
As chair of Oredervation he was the worst. He listened to a man in South Palm Park. Everybody got what they wanted. A little bribery? Hmmm
Are you talking about Herman? Did you mean to say Chair of Preservation?
