Lake Worth High School is "leaderless"

Lake Worth High School’s principal has been removed from the campus and an assistant principal has been transferred in fallout from the school’s handling of a student who attacked the assistant principal last month, The Palm Beach Post has learned.

School district officials this week ordered longtime Principal George Lockhart to stay off campus amid a probe stemming from the Nov. 22 attack, the handling of which has divided school staffers since it happened.

  1. It's a shame HOW OUR CULTURE HAS CHANGED IN THIS COUNTRY ALL DUE TO THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION PROBLEM THAT OBAMA INTENSIFIED. There is a high percentage of punks in the schools today and much is due to their home life. How dare a student attack a teacher and then a principal making light of it.

  2. Demographics--sort of reflects our city:
    School Enrollment: 2970
    White students: 34.5%
    Black students: 36.9%
    Hispanic students: 24.7%
    Asian students: 2.4%
    Native American students: .3%
    Multi-racial/other students: 1.1%
    Female students: 53.9%
    Male students: 46.1%

Instead of moving the asst principal to another school and putting Mr. Lockhart on leave, this student should have been suspended. Period.

  3. They are trying to sugar coat this story and trying to prevent it from being a racist thing since the principal quietly transferred (or fired) all the white and hispanic teachers and administrators. Because of the attack on the assistant principal, the light is being turned on all activities at the school and we are seeing for the first time the elimination, over 6 months period of time, all non African American administrators and teachers. The state of Florida is investigating other abuses of power along with the teacher transfer paperwork and resignation letters most of which is already proven to be false. Investigators are interviewing school officials trying to determine a motive for these actions before they consider the removal of the principal and termination of his employment contract.

The assistant principal who was attacked by the student, who is white, is reportedly not interested in the principals job and is the latest to be transferred out of the school district. The assistant principal has also filed a lawsuit against palm beach county for payment of doctor bills, loss of work and pain and suffering. The lawsuit is based on the schools failure to provide adequate security for teachers and administrators

  4. This goes further than just an attack on the only administrator that can keep these kids in line at Lake Worth High. This has been a conspiracy from the day George Lockhart walked on LWHS campus. He bullies teachers into changing grades,..countless of kids graduated that did not even sit in a classroom. He retaliates against you making your life a living hell so that you will leave. He promotes his friends,...he abuses his power. Many friends in the district have covered up for him for too long. His assistant principals are his puppets and the only assistant principal (Mr. Hart) that stood up to him was transferred out. SHAME ON THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PALM BEACH COUNTY!
