General James Mattis will be Trump's Secretary of Defense

General James Mattis, retired four star general who was appointed by Obama to replace Gen. David Petraeus to serve as the 11th commander of the United States Central Command from August 11, 2010 to March 22, 2013, is the man! He will now be head of the Defense Department per an announcement by President Elect Trump in Cincinnati last night.

Below is a letter to his troops in 2003:

  1. Thank God for Donald Trump! His speech last night was a joyous thing of beauty to behold.FINALLY the adults are back in charge! America is no longer going to be treated as a social experiment.After an eight year absence,the LAW will TRUMP "feelings" .
