Democrats, after having lost the Florida election to Donald Trump, want convicted felons to be able to vote and even are going to put it on the ballot in 2018. It doesn't matter who can vote--convicted felons, illegal immigrants if they can figure out a way--as long as they vote Democratic.
Lake Worth Democrat Sen. Jeff Clemens wants to allow felons the right to vote. He just filed a joint resolution (SJR 74) for lawmakers to consider in the 2017 session, which begins in March. No House version has been filed yet.
Read about Jeff wanting felons to vote...
I read where a Lake Worth resident on Facebook said that Jeff was doing a very good job. I guess it depends upon what party you represent. He voted against every major key vote but one while in the legislature.
Jeff clemons, what a waste. What has he done for us?
ReplyDeleteJeff Clemens is the Poster Boy for incompetence in state government. He gets these ideas that appeal to his base, and while no one is paying attention, he gets them pushed through. It's tragic that one so poorly qualified as Jeff Clemens has made it all the way through to the State House.
ReplyDeleteI guess the Jeffster wasn't paying attention in the last election.Americans want to stop voter fraud, not make it easier. By the way Jeff, what have you done for Lake Worth? You laughed about the possible destruction of John Prince Park. You are totally owned by the lobbyists for big everything in Florida.I would say they got you into your home in Atlantis, but your unnecessary wife did that for you. Always looking ahead, never back from where you came from. Sad.
ReplyDeleteWaaaa, what have you done for us? We need politicians to do stuff for us becouse we are inept little losers, help us Jeffrey we need help! Waaaaa.......
DeleteHe's doing stuff for us--wants convicted felons to vote. He wanted our speed limit raised to 75mph. He got medical marijuana passed. Sober Homes? Not much there.
ReplyDeleteClemens keeps winning elections. He's a disgusting individual, and unless someone comes along who can defeat him in the next election, we'll probably be stuck with him for many years. Clemens is the champion of the uninformed voter who probably voted for him because he was first on the list. If someone runs against him whose name begins with A, that individual will probably beat him.
ReplyDeleteClemens won because elections are all about the money in their campaign accounts, not about the character in their hearts.Just look at Kerner our newest PBC Commissioner. He ran for the paycheck. And BTW why do PBC Commissioners get bigger paychecks than our state reps do? When running for office ,the first question when going to an endorsement interview will be "How much money is in your campaign account" not "How are you qualified to run for this office"? True story and until we have candidates that tell the interviewers "what the fuc$ does that have to do with my ability to do the job?" we will continue to get the hell hole we deserve to live in.
