Trump appoints Deputy National Security Adviser

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Fox News analyst K.T. McFarland as his deputy national security adviser, The New York Times reports.

Trump offered McFarland the job and she has accepted the high-profile position in his administration. She is the third woman picked for top spots in Trump's administration.

McFarland would serve under retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Trump's National Security Adviser.
