President Obama has appointed a Muslim as a federal judge, someone who has never been a judge, a Pakistani immigrant who has practiced law in the United States for 10 years. He has a JD from Harvard Law School 1997 and a BA, Cornell University 1993. But it’s his ties to Islamists, including those in the Saudi Arabian government, that could prove troubling for senators being asked to approve his nomination.

On February 11, 2016 President Obama nominated another Muslim, Abduhl Karim Kallon, to serve as a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. His nomination is pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Of course he appointed a Muslim judge. He is a Muslim himself and the majority of his administrative appointments have been Muslim. He would like America to be ruled by Sharia law, although I understand his daughters want no part of it.
