Anyone can get to a point where they lose control of themselves then start breaking things....hitting people...cause havoc...or do worse. You (police) cant really predict where and when it will happen. You just respond to it and try to neutralize the situation. But, it does seems that LW has more than its share of these kinds of people who are on the edge or borderline bad guys...or certifiable bad guys. The question is...What draws them to this area....and more importantly what keeps them here. Consider this: Broken Windows Theory The term "Broken Windows" comes from the metaphor used to describe this concept: "If a window is broken and left unrepaired, people walking by will conclude that no one cares and no one is in charge." This theory says that the little things matter. Lake Worth needs to repair its broken windows so the bad guys who are walking by dont stop to break more windows.
We're beyond the broken windows theory. We should have moved on to the breaking heads phase, but our police are forbidden to act. The situation is beyond the control of the police; they are not, and should not be expected to be mental health workers. This is all due to BIG PHARMA who start drugging these people until their brains are fried. Unless we as a people decide to adopt a policy like they have in the Philippines, and Singapore, we are at the mercy of these nuts. We created the problem, only we can solve it.

This city is full of criminals. I don't even go into the downtown anymore.
