Waaa to Wawa

Comment Up

People around Hypoluxo and Highridge Roads are crying about WAWA...it's going to ruin their neighborhood.  Well, ain't that a kick in the pants.

Many of these people are the same ones who have ZERO sympathy with the Atlanta Braves wanting to take over our John Prince Park affecting not only the surrounding neighborhoods here but the environment overall. Vice Mayor Scott Maxwell lives off of Highridge Road and one downtown merchant with an Atlanta Braves sign in her window is one of the more vocal people against Wawa.

  2. Believe me; when they get the WaWa, they'll love it. They don't say "I love my WaWa" for nothing. It's the best convenience store ever. It has the best coffee, the best sandwiches, and the best employees. It's also a very good employer.

  5. They think High Ridge Road is congested?! Try living between 6th Ave South and Lantana road! At certain times of the day, these two roads are bumper to bumper road blocks. Throw the railroad crossing at 6th into the mess and you have a real nightmare. One of the people against WAWA but who greedily supports the destruction of John Prince Park for a baseball stadium is in for a real wake up call if that ever happens. People trying to get home after a baseball game are going to find the High Ridge Road artery to Hypoluxo I-95 exit real quick. And you fools were worried about WAWA causing traffic?
