Commissioner Ryan Maier

Comment Up

Talking about the hostility shown towards him as a commissioner in the minority, not just politically, but on a personal and business level. "If you have an opinion; have it, love it, support it and if you have a different opinion, support different opinions," said Commissioner Maier.  He assured the folks that in spite of the attacks, he's not going anywhere.

Mark Easton wondered if Maier was leaving the dais early? He didn't listen to what Commissioner Maier said and that is a big part of the problem that we experience on a daily basis in this city.  The majority just wants to listen to itself.  Commissioner Maier was being his normal, caring and classy self. Time for that bird and the Trio to take a lesson or two.

  1. Ryan asked that their be no hostility and low and behold Bully Maxwell "I am chairing this meeting" has to start yelling at Ryan and Chris when Mary Ann was politely asked to address all comment to the "chair" WHICH IS PROTOCOL Scott. They were right in requesting this and you were wrong to start yelling at them. We all realize that you have a HATRED for Chris and Ryan and that you support Mary Ann but protocol is protocol and your behavior was disgusting as usual. Scott Maxwell needs to take the Code of Ethics class again (if he ever took it in the first place) and enroll in an anger management class. He is getting worse every meeting. If their was a way to impeach him I would do it in a heart beat.
As for Wes's stupid remark. You only hear what you want to hear and not what is being said. This is very evident in your blog. How many times have you interpreted things they way you want to and not the way it is suppose to be interpreted. Clean out you ears and your brain. Ryan and Chris are class acts and the rest of your are nothing but bully's.
There are approximately 30 people that gather to watch the commissioners meetings because we are tired of being blind sided by the trio. They are all appalled at how these meeting are run and the disrespect that is shown to Chris and Ryan and to the people who get up to speak about their concerns that are not what Maxwell (especially), Amoroso and Triolo want to hear. We are very proud of our Commissioners McVoy and Maier and their professionalism and their concerns for the residents of Lake Worth. You need to start running these meetings without hostility being directed at ANYONE. START ACTING LIKE PEOPLE REPRESENTING THE PEOPLE INSTEAD OF YOU THREE REPRESENTING YOURSELVES.

  2. why in the world would anyone want to be a part of this---really it has to be the little money they make and the money they need---nobody in their right mind would really want to live near the downtown---if you drive into lake worth you feel and see poor environment and know that all are poor and below the poverty line----and our commission is proud of what--------their own ego--which says a lot about their own standards-----below par

  4. These bullies do NOT get embarrassed.
Commissioner Ryan Maier has way too much class to mention anyone by name from the dais, unlike a few others we know.
