Currently elected to the Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Palm Beach County, my title is Vice Chair. When elected to the board I began as a Supervisor and then became Secretary/Treasurer. As a board member and Secretary/Treasurer I reviewed the budget for submission to the board.

2007 – 2008 Co-Chair Everglades Coalition, a coalition of 60 environmental groups nationwide dedicated to restoring and preserving the Everglades. Hosted annual conference attended by the Governor, US Senators and high ranking administration officials.

I am a volunteer for the Sierra Club for the Everglades, Water Quality and Waste Minimization as well as the Conservation Chair of the Loxahatchee Group of the Sierra Club representing Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties. I was featured in the 2010 Sierra Club Calendar for my work as Everglades Chair. This calendar was sold nationwide.

I am an active attendee at numerous public meetings including the South Florida Water Management District, the Palm Beach County Commission, the Lake Worth Lagoon Initiative and Palm Beach County Water Resources Task Force. I worked with the South Florida Water Management to provide plans intended as a model to restore the Everglades Ecosystem.

I have assisted on presentations with staff members of Palm Beach County’s Soil and Conservation District. I have attended each of the Environthon Contests sponsored by the Soil and Water Conservation District of Palm Beach. I also serve as the Area Assistant Vice President for the Association of Soil and Conservation Districts in the state of Florida.

I have worked over twenty five years in business. I have degrees in History and a Masters in Business. I also have a Certificate in Business Data Processing.

I was presented with the prestigious Kabler Award from the Everglades Coalition for work on preserving the Everglades in 2012 and Environmental Champion Award from John T. McArthur State Park in 2010. Environmental Award from the Wellington Garden Club in 2015.
