Matching Grant for housing for abused

HomeSafe, a nationally accredited nonprofit organization protecting victims of child abuse and domestic violence, received a $500,000 challenge grant from the Bernstein Family Foundation to be used for a new Independent Living Housing Program. HomeSafe has a contract on property in Lake Worth, which includes 12 one-bedroom, one-bath apartments, near Palm Beach State College and Lake Worth Community High School.
