Marco Rubio presents bill that blocks US dollars to be used for Cuban Military

Marco Rubio, a first generation American and of Cuban heritage, is staunchly opposed to Obama's new Cuban policy that all has to do with eventually closing down Guantanamo Bay, something he promised to do years ago.  It is the last promise to fulfill before he leaves office and our country is a little bloody for all his "hope and change."

Can you even imagine recognizing a regime that is known for systematic human rights abuses, including arbitrary imprisonment, unfair trials, and extrajudicial execution. Until 1992, it was an atheist country that still, to this day, has tight controls over freedom of religion. There are limits on just about everything that we in this country take for granted because of our Constitution such as freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

Just two days ago, Marco Rubio introduced a bill, The Cuban Military Transparency Act, "that would prevent U.S. dollars from getting into the hands of the Cuban military and would demand accountability from the Obama Administration regarding fugitives of American justice in Cuba, the return of stolen and uncompensated property and the role of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior in Cuba." “It is not in the interest of the United States or the people of Cuba for the U.S. to become a financier of the Castro regime’s brutality,” Rubio said.
