  1. By invitation only ???? Can you say friggin pay to play???? If any staff or elected officials go to this they need to recuse themselves from any future vote on These con men !!!

  2. No. I think they just want to be able to escort a bunch of monkey wrenchers to the door with a swift kick.

  3. They misspelled the word fanfare, but we get it. They want to get back into the good graces of Lake Worthians as the city changes the LDR's, etc. for them and the taxpayers pay for studies to see if the city can help them out on the ITN and grab some of our beach property.

  4. "Just say NO to the little people" should be the new town motto.

A PRIVATE event. How disgusting and INAPPROPRIATE on the day we celebrate our independence from an OPPRESSIVE MONARCHY !!

INVITATION ONLY just doesn't say DEMOCRACY !!!

  5. I am guessing all the neighborhood association leaders (Szerdi supporters all!) will be there. And i wonder how HH could afford a big party liek this when they cant afford a security guard to watch the property. Mighty strange!

  6. Where does it say it's invitation only? Or what it costs to attend!? I'd like to go to see what they're up to...

  7. Can't wait to see who attends like all the NA presidents, Jon Faust the surly one, Greg Rice, Loretta, and all the big wigs of LW city hall.

  9. There just trying to pull a blanket over everyone's eyes when the truth is they haven't pulled any permits to remodel or renovate the hotel and I attended a magistrate meeting and where they were found in violation for many code violations. They want more contracts in the city and feel if they host events such as this they'll will gain political access to the Officials and eventually even though this is speculation, take over the beach. It will be interesting to see which Officials attend, "which officials they have in their pockets." "Hands Off Our Beach, Hands off Our City"

  10. They are out to gentrify the city. Don't let them open. Poor people will have to move out if the Gulfstream opens. This is how they do it back in Chicago where these guys are from.

  11. @5:03...can you explain your comment? What does the Gulfstream Hotel opening have to do with poor people and gentrification.
