"I'm tired of the game playing. We have fundamental issues in this city that need to be fixed. Man up. Fix the problem. Cut it out with the politics. It's not a pretty job; it's a dirty job and we're kicked every single day by that faction of the city that wants to keep things the same since the wild, wild west was rule of the day. I'm over this. Put on your big girl panties and let's move forward."
~ Vice Mayor Scott Maxwell
I did get a little smile out of the vice mayor last night. Even though the above expression was stated by Scott Maxwell several months ago, his feelings today are still the same. His public demeanor was getting more hostile toward the public when it involves hot button issues and when the public speaks out against his wishes. Last night he was relatively silent although I thought someone would speak up about the $16 million loan for 2 inch water pipes. No one got the adrenalin going. No one asked one question from the dais or told the public what it is going to cost the average consumer...how much per gallon difference do we have to look forward to for the next 6 years?
Scott, you, Pam, Andy, and Chris were all elected and put in office to represent US, the citizens. Please listen to US if you want to stay in office or have any respect from OTHERS here.
ReplyDeleteWe are watching you, Scott, all of you commissioners, we are not going to put up with anymore attitude or defiance, we deserve better as taxpaying citizens here, no more mediocrity, no more attitude from the elected ones, no more BS, we are not going to tolerate it anymore Scott from any of you include the city manager.
We need to get this monster out of office ASAP!
