Florida HB 185 - Protection of Military personal records

We know for a fact that ISIS is targeting the military and their families scouring social media for addresses of their family members – and to “show up [at their homes] and slaughter them." Worried about ISIS and other terrorists, HB 185 was advanced in the house yesterday by Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz. This bill will protect current and former military members who have served since Sept. 11, 2001, allowing them to petition government agencies to block the release of their addresses, phone numbers, birthdates and other personal information. It would also apply to their spouses and children. This would be a good bill for all of our states to pass.
