Congratulations on the election results. I am certain that Wes is crying on his life partners shoulder thinking what your pac will do to the remaining commissioners next election cycle. You guys didn't just beat Wes' people, you beat them badly, leaving no room for a positive spin to a disastrous election cycle for them.
This election had nothing to do with "gays" over a straight candidate. It was Szerdi who got the endorsement from the Human Rights Council, not Maier.
I will say that I thought the Jerome race did have something to do with "race" to some level. It was my observation that more blacks came out to vote at my precinct prior to or since the Obama election in 2008 and 2012.

The people felt 'listened' to!
ReplyDeleteSzerdi did beat Jerome by 28 votes.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's because people were impressed that he is an architect.
