Shanon Materio and friends - Caught with a smoking gun?

Comment Up

It seems as if West Palm Beach Commissioner Shanon Materio was a busy gal.  Now it's the South End Political Action Coalition, a political committee of some type that was formed right before Kimberly Mitchell, her BFF, filed to run for mayor of West Palm Beach in order to replace Jeri Muoio.

The Committee was formed for the benefit of Commissioner Mitchell, Len Fintzy, and Cory Neering in the recent election. The campaign treasurer for Fintzy is no other than Lake Worth's Mary Lindsey, another BFF of Shanon Materio. Lindsey was also the campaign treasurer for Shanon Materio.

Because of a dumb mistake and using the wrong e-mail address, (it should have been Shanon Materio's daughter's e-mail address as Shanon was staying out of the spotlight it seems) the plot was discovered--PAC’s are not legally allowed to coordinate mailings with candidates or candidate staff. The e-mail clearly shows that SEPAC coordinated with Beth Kennedy, campaign manager for Mitchell, Fintzy and Neering, and please notice Richard Pinsky, lobbyist and ex husband of Commissioner Mitchell, was also copied, says West Palm Beach Gov Watch. Richard Pinsky, if you recall, is a paid lobbyist for the City of Lake Worth.

Read about it... Did an "innocent" e-mail auto-fill error expose campaign tampering by all of those in bed together?

  5. Materio had the nerve to walk door to door in Lake Worth telling people to vote for the cash grab bond. Materio seems to know all about grabbing tax payer money.Like Father, like daughter. She's right at home in Corruption County.

  6. Matreio may not live in Lake Worth but her family is heavily invested here. Pushing for a bond that would have raised her property taxes considerably was not only well within her rights but obviously thought it was necessary to protect her investment.

  7. Materio's business is located on a State Road maintained by FDOT. It has nothing to do with protecting her business. It was, however, all about helping her friends. IMO

  9. I can only speak for myself and I am "envious" of no one. Why would I be "envious" of someone associated with campaign tampering?

  10. Envious of what?
    Money vs We the People?
Follow the Money and you'll find the truth! Grassroots collect donations in small amounts and the others are obviously collecting larger donations and still can't win.
