Mr. Maier will be a welcome change from John(I'm an architect) Szerdi. Szerdi' s only accomplishments seem to be the makeover of his own house at a cost that keeps changing. In one meeting Szerdi said he spent 100,000 and at another meeting he said he spent 150,000 to fix up his house.Talk about not having any concept of money. With financial dim-wits like this at the helm no wonder our city is broke !
Ryan moved to Palm Beach County with his family while he was in high school. After graduation, he attended St. Andrews Presbyterian College and Richard Stockton College where he earned a BA in Theatre Performance. He pursued his graduate degree at the University of North Carolina. His training, professional work and continued involvement in theater and dance keep him attuned to the vibrant creative scene here in Lake Worth.
Shifting his focus a number of years ago, Ryan studied at the acclaimed Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology in Atlanta and interned with nationally renowned master colorist Maria Heckscher. He now operates Stella’s Beauty Salon—a “landmark” on Federal Highway that has been serving the Lake Worth community since 1952.
Yay. That's the resume of a candidate we need in L-Dub. We should totally do a hairithon, makeover thingy to raze some cash for yard signs and stuff. Go Ryan! !!!!
