Keep Lake Worth beach Public

Comment Up

Stop the City Commission from going forward with more development on our public beach!

What is Going on?

The City Commission created an ITN (Invitation to Negotiate) requesting that developers submit proposals for “Casino and Beach Complex Expansion” our newly upgraded beach. These upgrades were wide open, and could include adding buildings.  The ITN Selection Committee has been meeting to look at these proposals and most of these meetings have been held in private. The Selection committee did hold a meeting on Election Day Tuesday Nov 4, 2014. Obviously, this is not a great day to hold an important public meeting.  At that meeting they reviewed the proposals, but we have not seen copies.

The proposals are being reviewed and negotiated behind closed doors with no public input.

  2. I see you and Margret, are following the cabals old had book. If you don't think you candidate is going to win, start a rumor days before the election. After reading the Trib today I see it is only a matter of Day's before the paper will shut down. As the Church Lady on SNL use to say"isn't that just Special "

  4. @7:56...we have a young woman who started a business and is trying very hard to produce a top newspaper, working her azz off actually and a paper that has some facts. You wish her ill will. Why is that? Can't handle the truth. She was being very honest. It takes a lot of money to start a company. Hope she makes it.

  9. 8:49...TOB, always a pleasure having you visit. You love people to fail. Pretty sick.
I'm going to open a business with blood, sweat and tears just to make it fail? Perhaps you can go after the PBpost when it prints something you don't like, or channel 12 News, but the Tribune is not afraid of you. Neither am I.
