What politicians will do for a buck and a vote

Comment Up

Well, I sure know how to pick them. It was only in November when I gave Paulette Burdick accolades. Now look what she's done.

Burdick has joined the West Palm Beach City Commissioners (The mayor, Kimberly Mitchell, Shanon Materio and Keith James) and lobbied the New York State Parole Board for the release of a murderer who butchered her husband--all for politics--all for friendship. When do politicians draw the line? Do they EVER have common sense?  Integrity?  Do they always disappoint?

  1. Lynn, when will you learn? You should never put any politician on a pedestal. In fact, never put any human being on a pedestal. Not the Pope, elected officials, clergy, the police, doctors, teachers, judges, no one! Human beings will always fail us one time or another. God is the only one we should be putting on a pedestal. He/She is the only truth and light and should be held on high and trusted No one else.

  2. I have always liked Paulette, I have known here for many years. This certainly is disappointing to hear that she did this. Why do you think so many did this to help a murderer? Do they know something we all don't? Or are they just using their power here to help a criminal? Sad to hear this.

  3. So Michelle Lennon the murder serving 20 years now is the daughter of politically-connected West Palm Beach resident Leonard Fintzy, but what does he have over all the politicians? Why are they doing this for him? Has he given them a lot of campaign funding? What are the connections here? I don't get why these politicians are getting involved this way and wanting to hurt their own reputations?
