Clemens is attempting to handicap future Charter Schools. His bill will make it even more difficult for charter schools to obtain approval in Florida. The applicant would have to demonstrate that the charter school meets a specific
instructional need or a need for additional educational facilities.
SB 254: Charter Schools

Charter Schools; Requiring a charter school to demonstrate it meets certain needs that the local school district does not or is unable to provide to students in that district in order to obtain approval, etc.

Clemens files more bills than a bill collector.
We need them to be able to spell when they graduate and speak English properly!
ReplyDeleteAny other school w/that mission should be allowed in because a lot of the kids today are in a world of trouble because they can't spell or speak English!
Go back to basics Jeff and solve the problem - no more adding laws that do not work!
