Obama wants to normalize relations with a tyrannical Hellhole Marxist regime

Comment Up

Here’s the thing: Trade the click consonants and glottal stoppages for EspaƱol and dress everyone in T-shirts proclaiming loyalty to a Major League Baseball team, and Southern Africa is Cuba. Cuba is a Marxist hellhole. Worse: Cuba is precisely the hellhole Marxism always produces, albeit with tropical-getaway foliage. A ludicrously tiny minority of the people — in Cuba’s case, the Castros and whichever of their cronies hasn’t been sent to “rehabilitation” for “crimes against the state” — not only own nearly everything of value, they essentially own everyone else. While the Castro boys party with Hollywood stars, the average Cuban scrapes and claws his way to a subsistence living. And, as is always the case in a communist dictatorship, the average Cuban knows: Someone is always watching.

Obama has chosen to pour carrots into Cuba, ignorant of the fact that the communists will simply eat what they want and bury their people in the castoffs.

Read more... on how Obama's Cuban Gambit will Fail

We will be building up their failed economy because Russia no longer can help them...they can't help themselves.  Obama's next step will be closing down Guantanamo and moving the terrorists to other regions out of Cuba so that they can fight us all over again...his last promise he made in 2008.  He can say to the American people, "I kept my promises."  Thank God we have term limits.

  1. Speaking of Russia, who normalized relations with them?

    Four words: Tear. Down.These. Walls.

    But it’s okay when you’re a Republican.

  2. Tearing down the wall involved East and West Germany. We don't have "normal" relations with Russia. Putin wants to resume "normal" relations because his economy is tanking.

  3. I am a conservative too counting my blessingsDecember 19, 2014 at 8:50 AM

And what are your solutions then for Guantanamo?

Who opened it and put all there to begin with?

Obama should be applauded for all he is doing to close that and improve relations with Cuba and all countries. Instead so many want to bash him every chance they get.

Recall before Obama took office, things were bad, wars, killings, no jobs, financial mess, inequality, etc, Obama has changed this country around single handedly, and some just want to keep cutting him down for trying, he works tirelessly for our country every day and some never are happy.

This is a time to count blessings, we live in one of the best countries in the world, and it has improved a great deal in 6 years compared to where we were, Bush ruined relations with so many countries.

The only one thing we can say negative about Obama is that the national debt still is out of control and he and the senate and congress have not done anything to address it. Other than that, he has worked, the senate and house should be blamed, blame them, Obama has done so much!

  4. I stopped watching Fox News as I got tired of them ripping Obama and the dems apart every time you watch, so one sided and so pro-republican, never fair or balanced. I am afraid if this negativity continues on this blog, I may need to stop coming to read and participate in this blog, too many attacks toward Obama almost daily, and after all he has done to turn this country around. I am starting to lose faith here, seeing too much negativity. I am sorry to see this or say this. Just how I feel.

  5. He has done everything within his powers and beyond to make this country one of socialism. That is not my politics or the way to go. When Bill Clinton was in office he balanced the budget but those balanced budgets occurred only when Republicans controlled both houses of Congress. Now that the Republicans control both the Senate and the House, we will see what can happen going forward. A 20 trillion dollar debt is an impossible feat for anyone to bring down substantially or eradicate completely without huge sacrifices.

  6. @ 9:00--sorry you don't want to hear the other side of the story. I have always said, however, if you don't like this conservative's point of view, move on. Life is too short to be unhappy, Delores.

The wall was symbolic, it was about the cold war between the West and Soviet Union. You do the know what you are talking about, you don't know what Putin wants. Stick to the small town politics.

  8. It was much more than "symbolic" anonymous. it was real. The Berlin wall was 12 ft high and 91 mi. long. Go read the history, anonymous and please stick to local small town issues.

  9. What the hell do we think Cuba will bring to the USA in trade , they have noting but 12 million lazy parasite humans there that have never and will never do any work what so ever . Labor is redundant on a world scale nobody is going to produce any thing over there that will need them. They will all move to the USA if given the chance and collect welfare here. Cuba has no natural resource what so ever , out side of sugar and cigars and their sugar industry is shit , and their tobacco is nothing not to mention that world market prices are in toilet because of over production of both sugar and tobacco by other country's.

  10. It seems almost useless trying to talk to you about helping the poor, being compassionate, doing what is right to help others in need. Obama does do this and wants this, too bad you cannot show some love and compassion for the needy. Adios!

  11. Who's paying for all your love and compassion? I give contributions all year long to charities. What do you do other than praise the biggest socialist president in history?

  12. "biggest socialist president in history"

If he's a socialist then all those capitalists that have benefited from the exploding stock market might want to switch over.

    IMPEACH!

  13. The exploding stock market has nothing to do with Obama or his socialist policies. It mostly has to do with US currency not worth much and huge Hedge Funds investing in the market. That's my thought on it. Watch for a possible fall soon as people take profits for the year.
