Obama - Full of it

Comment Up

Read and watch the video from Obama's speech in 2008 on Cuba and his pandering to the Cuban American population in Miami just to get the vote. Low information voters love this guy when he speaks...sort of reminds me of Jim Jones.

"The road to freedom for all Cubans must begin with justice for Cuba's political prisoners, the right of free speech, a free press, freedom of assembly, and it must lead to elections that are free and fair," Obama said. "That is my commitment."

As U.S.-Russian relations continue to deteriorate, Russia is trying to reopen a Cold War-era spy base in Cuba. During his Latin America trip, Putin also signed agreements with Argentina, Brazil and Cuba to open more positioning stations for Russia’s GLONASS satellite navigation system, says The Diplomat.

And what does Obama do? Plays footsies with corrupt governments. Not only does he ignore our laws on immigration and takes executive actions to get his own way acting like a dictator, he changes the United States' policy towards Cuba and has opened up relations with this Communist Marxist/Leninist Castro regime so that we all can funnel money and travel there and open it up again to US Corporations to do business with the less than 12 million people who live there who will still be under Communism and repression.

Freedom House classifies Cuba as being "Not Free," and notes that "Cuba is the only country in the Americas that consistently makes Freedom House’s list of the Worst of the Worst: the World’s Most Repressive Societies for widespread abuses of political rights and civil liberties. Obama knows that he can't do anything about Cuban political reforms including the protection of basic human rights and the work of civil society. So, what's he up to?

  1. Obama and company WENT behind the Congress and Senates backs for EIGHTEEN MONTHS, dealing with the Communist Cuban regime. Going behind our representatives backs is going behind the people of America's backs ! Disgusting.

  2. Obama should be applauded for all he is trying to do to build build bridges and help people, that is what he is doing helping people, maybe Cuba will be a democracy some day due to all of this.

Is there are good you can see in Obama?

We all need to start looking at the glass as half full. Be positive, count our blessings for all Obama and his leadership as president has done int he past 6 years, it is a lot in comparison to many previous presidents.

I say thank you to him everyday for my freedom for me, my life, my family, and making our world safer. It is getting there.

  4. Lynn, you are too negative toward Obama, always constantly bashing him for anything he does.

Can't you find one thing good to say about him?

He has done a lot in his administration for our country, economy, gays, women, wars, jobs, etc.

Things are much better now than they were under Bush.

I know you have your right to your feelings and opinion, and to be negative if you want to, but you sound too negative toward Obama always on your blog. I wonder if this is healthy?

  5. Truth is ALWAYS healthy. I'm a conservative, anonymous so I am looking at him from a totally different place than you are. I disagree with socialists and communists.
