If nothing else, is it buying votes from the parents of these kids?
If
you still have not been a part of a LW 2020 informational session
presented by the city, you still have 3 more chances! Friday night at
7pm they'll be a meeting at the LW Playhouse. Saturday at 5pm the City
will be presenting at the College Park Neighborhood Association meeting
at First Congregational Church. Sunday at Noon they'll be a 2020
presentation at the Wimbley Gym- 1515 Wingfield Street
off of 12th Avenue South- no need for a sitter as they'll be
hamburgers, hotdogs, soft drinks and activities for the kids!
The vote
is this Tuesday folks. No matter what side of the issue you are on,
please make sure you get the facts first. There's no need to guess or
wonder or speculate. You will be able to ask questions directly to city
staff at all of these meetings. And as an aside, please be respectful
and kind to one another. Whatever happens, we have a lot of work to do
and it always works better when we do it together!
I saw a post that claimed the YES PAC was buying the food...
ReplyDeleteIs that suppose to make it OK?
When this city TOOK $50,000 from the people, I don't TRUST anyone. I don't TRUST anything anyone says on a social media page, especially anyone supporting the YES people.
ReplyDeleteThe City made the resolution to have the "free lunch" and boy are they going to town.
This is pay to play. Sure sounds like we are right in the heart of corruption county. What people do for a free hotdog is simply astonishing.
ReplyDeleteno voters seem to be the only readers and commenters on this blog or do you disqualify all yes voters. humorous though to see dee trying to be civil, she may have too much baggage though with her racist comments.
ReplyDeleteJust so that you "get it" anonymous at 10:10, when Dee posts it is under her own name. She stands up for what she believes. In your mind, perhaps, you don't like her comments but others can relate to her truths. The fact you posted anonymously does not add credibility to your comment.
ReplyDeleteNext, just for the record, it is not a YES or a NO vote. It is FOR or AGAINST. People are confused enough by the city and rightfully so.
Mayor Triolo, where are the hamburgers ,hot dogs ,etc for MY neighborhood ? My neighbors and I know that our vote is worth more than a hot dog, but really- Is it just CERTAIN neighborhoods that get goodies for free? Sure seems like it. Katie Mcgiveron, vice president of the ROLO neighborhood association.
