  1. These people must have tremendous trust in this government or...????

They can't even account for the last bond and that missing money.

It simply amazes me that people want to tax themselves for 34 years when there are other plans they could have and should have proposed.

  2. These people are nuts! Who in their right minds wants a tax on their businesses and homes for over 30 years to improve only 30 % of our roads? 131 million for a couple of roads that will only last for about 15 years , MAX ?CRAZY !This isn't about roads, it's all about Maxwell's park of commerce pipe dream !!What a loser !

  3. Notice every time the city of lake Worth wants to hit it's citizens over the head with something that will hurt them, it's Nadine, Herman, Greg ,and this same bunch of wacko's that are holding the hammer? These people really have only their own greed to blame for their selfish actions. Anyone that cares about the people of Lake Worth will vote against this bond.

  4. Wonder if they'll repeat the city mantra or actually come up w/a real factual argument?!?

If other social media is any indicator there are some smart cookies who are getting how politics rolls in town and some thinking of moving here are aware now of how we roll too and should take their investments elsewhere because the voodoo math from the city and explanations are just plain crazy!

It's down to "Just Believe" or
"Do the Math" - the choice is yours Aug 26th!

Can you go before this board and get a fair shot? If you speak up will you be targeted in the future. Who the heck wants to find out?!?

  7. I agree. Greg Rice should step down. He is too prejudiced against some people to sit in judgment1576 of them. The same goes for Wes Blackman.

  8. Incidentally, all of those on city boards but most of all Planning & Zoning and the Historical Resource Preservation board, should refrain from promoting this bond on social media or on their blog. Unethical.
