Lake Worth Municipal Golf Course Closed today

Lake Worth Municipal Golf Course

Closed today for maintenance...the gal who answered the phone did not know what sort of maintenance they were doing and couldn't find anyone to answer the question. At least something, on one of our most valuable assets, is being maintained.

  1. Next you will find Juan allowing dogs to roam on our golfcourse and provide waste bags too.

  2. Yes. I do believe that staff is running this city and making policy.

  3. This is the time of year golf courses airerate the course punching holes in the turf to allow the turf to grow healthier.
Were you calling to set up a tee time to play? Or were you just bothering city staff again? You know most of them hate your effin guts and cringe when they see you coming. Your name probably came up on the caller i.d. and the girl knew not to bother talking to you.

  4. Thanks, anonymous above...sounds like the guy in charge! You just paid me a big compliment. LOL
Realizing that this administration wants to do its own thing without being accountable for anything much, I am rather sure that some people hate my "effen' guts for pointing out facts. Too bad.
Actually, when I write something, I check it out for accuracy first. Would you rather I just make-up stuff? About you? Instead of being a wise guy, just answer phone calls or e-mails.
P.S. thanks for aerating the course!

  5. 3:45pm was out of line, but your answer was also duplicitous.
A few weeks back you posted about there being only 38 parking spaces (there are fifty) for resident decal parking. Apparently you 'make-up stuff' because you obviously didn't check that for accuracy!!

  6. Please, it doesn't matter who calls the city about what, 99.9% of us can't get an answer from the City with one phone call. Most of the time it takes repeated calls and emails and most of the time whoever you reach tells you to call person A or B over in department C, then you call that person and that person tells you to call person D or E over in department F and then you call that person and they send you back to the first person.

The fact is most people give up long before getting an answer out of our helpful (ha ha) public servants. Thankfully someone like the author here follow up for the rest of us to get the facts.

  7. Actually I did count it but forgot the upper 12. Thanks for being on top of it, anonymous. Now, the next thing you can do is notify the city that their web site has an inaccurate number of parking spaces listed for decal parking...42. Get on it now and call them names while you're at it. How about posting under your own name? By the way, it is MY blog and I don't appreciate you coming over here to be a big shot. :)

  8. This is sort of typical. No one can ever give you a straight answer on anything when you call a dept. I have reported a house for code for years now and it still looks like crap and no one can tell me why.
